Start with the brief
Set the design around the product goal, source information, and requirements that matter.
CADNORD / PRODUCT DESIGN & ENGINEERING
CADNORD turns sketches, specifications, technical drawings, and physical references into CAD models and manufacturing documentation for the next stage of your product.
A CLEAR WAY TO WORK
Bring the idea, the constraints, and the questions. The project scope can be shaped around what needs to happen next.
Set the design around the product goal, source information, and requirements that matter.
Agree on the files, drawings, and level of detail needed for the next step.
Check the work against the agreed brief and collect feedback at clear review points.
Bring materials, interfaces, and intended production methods into the design discussion.
SERVICES
Start with one deliverable or discuss a broader product-development scope. The right outputs depend on your project and what comes next.
Develop a product direction from a brief, sketches, and design goals.

Explore service →WHO THIS IS FOR
Product design questions show up across different markets: how a product works, how parts fit, and what information is needed for the next step.
PROJECT PROCESS
Scope, review points, and deliverables are agreed for each project.
Explain the goal, context, and what you already have.
Identify constraints, priorities, and open questions.
Confirm the work, file types, and review points.
Build the agreed concept into engineering detail.
Compare the work with the agreed brief and feedback.
Package the outputs agreed for your next step.
DESIGN TO HANDOFF
Product decisions affect how a design fits, functions, and gets made. Align materials, interfaces, drawings, and file formats with the people who will use the deliverables next.
OUR WORK
CADNORD will add case studies when projects are cleared for public sharing. Client names, product details, and images should appear only with permission. See how project stories will be presented →
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Yes. Share what is known, what is still open, and which decisions you need help making. The scope can be discussed from there.
Describe the product goal, any sketches or existing files, important dimensions or constraints, timing, and the deliverables you expect to need. An early brief does not need to answer every question.
That depends on who will use the files and what they need to do next. Include your team's or manufacturer's preferred formats so the deliverables can be agreed up front.
Revision expectations should be included in the agreed scope. During review, separate feedback on the agreed brief from new requirements so their impact can be discussed.
Raise confidentiality or NDA requirements before sharing sensitive project files, so the arrangement can be confirmed before work begins.
Use the meeting page to request a conversation, or send a note through the contact page with a short description of what you are working on.
